The Big Picture

Oh how shortsighted we, as humans are! We become prideful once we have been shown a little. We focus so intently on what little we have been shown, that we often miss the so much more that is intended for us. We serve an amazing Creator! He wants to share His secrets with us, but He will not dwell with the proud.

It is so easy for us to lose sight of the bigger picture because of our pride and self sufficiency. Once we humble ourselves and understand how truly little we know, our Heavenly Father begins to reveal a little bit more of the picture to us.

Yet, ever creatures of continuous fault, we focus solely on what we now see. Again becoming puffed up because of what He has shown us. We consider our "level of spirituality" to be above others because He has given us a little understanding. But Oh, how glorious it is when we remain humble before our Creator!

Once we cease to focus on what we think we know compared to what we think others know, we can truly see the big picture that our Father wishes us to. It is not that the little that He has shown us is not beautiful. All that He creates is incomparably amazing. But there is much, so much more for us to experience! Don't let your pride keep you from seeing the masterpiece that is before you.
