Texas!

Hi Everyone!
I just returned home to Virginia after a long weekend in Texas for a Bible Quiz Competition that my younger sister participated in. She and her team won second place! After that LONG day, we had a few "fun" days at a retreat. I have a few pictures of those days but most of the ones I took this trip were of God's creation. He really impressed upon me the beauty that He has created! (even in Texas) Sorry Texans, but I have to say I wasn't really a fan of the state until a few days ago. The hidden beauty is incredible! Thank you Lord!
This was just another reminder that God is in the details!

 I saw this pink bird on Sunday and at first thought, "Oh my, I just saw a flamingo!" I came back on Monday and took this picture and realized that it was a pink bird but not a flamingo. According to google I am not the first to make this mistake...which makes me feel so much better :) Turns out this is a Roseate Spoonbill.
